Shape of Language @798

The pop-up street event took place in an art community street. We designed interactive games and workshops for the passers-by to participate. Deaf students interact with the participants in a confident way to introduce Deaf culture. The event brought a sign language environment into the public and invited hearing people participate physically.

在798艺术区街头，聋人学生运用看板、彩色图卡和白板等道具邀请路人进行互动游戏，开展工作坊和行为艺术，介绍手语知识和聋人文化。聋人艺术小组言语之形认为，把手语放入日常生活场景中，由聋人主动代表自身文化，可以促进聋人和听人之间的平等交流和文化理解。在这个由聋人主导的快闪艺术活动中，艺术家浅色和我从选定活动地点、计划路线、制作道具和当日具体执行，通过讨论全程参与艺术和实践方面的支持和建议。
