Face
From Deaf culture, I found rich possibilities for visual and physical expression. When my sign language teacher was teaching us the importance of facial expressions, she asked us to imagine invisible strings that pulls our facial muscles. It’s like getting to know your face with a fresh eye and try what you can do with it. I made the strings visible with drawings and real strings. What I want to make is a playful experiment on facial expressions.
