The Absence 缺席

The book is based on my experience of a family member who passed away. I document my feelings and responses to certain events. It is an attempt to be aware of myself and the people around me. It also helps me to talk about death with my family and friends again.

My Dear Imaginary Friends

I made a series of images with performance as part of my ongoing project ‘My Dear Imaginary Friends’. I created the character who wears red clothes and travels with her twin sisters and imagined the world surrounds her with photos, illustration, and collage.

Women’s Pockets’ Pocket Book

I created a series of posters for a physical play ‘Ripples in Me’.Pockets reflect how gender politics operate on women’s body experience and emotion. With this book, I would like to share the research and images I accumulated throughout my creative experiments with pockets, to discuss feminism and gender equality ideas behind everyday objects.

Hand Mask 手面具

Hand Mask is an improvisational game I play with children during workshops. With different hand gestures and facial expressions, there are endless combinations. I would like to share this fun exercise to highlight the phenomenological exploration of emotions and body movements.

Hand Mask

Glasgow Kisser

A ‘Glasgow kiss’ is a head butt. It sounds romantic but turns out to be violent. After being through a series of gender violence events, I would like to make a statement with this phrase with its high contrast: If you decides to take advantage of me because I seem nice and polite, I may as well ‘kiss’ you and make you bleed. Don’t be afraid to defend ourselves.

Girl, If You Could Speak!

Inspired by Glaswegian musician Stuart Murdoch’s project God Help the Girl, I designed and screen-printed tote bags with the text ‘Girl, if You Could Speak, You’d Know What to Do!’. The text forms the shape of a dialogue bubble. Respecting and expressing your feelings, is the first step towards making changes.

受格拉斯哥音乐人Stuart Murdoch的God Help the Girl项目的启发,我手工丝网印了帆布包,带有‘Girl, if You Could Speak, You’d Know What to Do!
